Would this chock work on a metal bed trailer? If note hat would you recommend?

Yes, the Rack'em Manufacturing Removable Wheel Chock # RA-17 would work well on a metal bed trailer like yours. It can basically be attached to any surface. The mounting hardware is not included so you would need to source nuts and bolts to attach to your trailer. You would need a total of 8 fasteners.
