Question:

I want to find a roof rack for a 2014 Lincoln MKT - WITH a MoonRoof. Just need to carry 1 or 2 small kayaks and/or a 12 ft. Fishing kayak. Also need some kind of roller for the rear rack to facilitate getting the fishing kayak on/off of the car. Thanks.

Rhino-Rack offers roof rack options for your 2014 Lincoln MKT that has a moon roof. All can be seen on the linked page. I suggest a check of your MKT owner's manual to confirm the car's roof weight capacity since this is often reduced when a sun/moon roof is included on a vehicle. It is unlikely that it will be able to handle the weight of all three kayaks and possibly may only provide enough room for two of the three at one time.

Rhino-Rack offers their aerodynamic Vortex Aero rack system. This rack will be quieter than other racks thanks to its elliptical bar shape which generates less wind noise. If you prefer silver bars order parts # RRVA137S-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK341. If you prefer a black finish order parts # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK341. An install video is linked for you.

The other link will display all kayak carriers that will fit on these aero-style bars. We do offer a roller-assisted carrier from Yakima, their HandRoll # Y04082-2, which will fit on aero bars and provide easier rear loading.

Your best bet is probably going to be a pair of J-style carriers like the SportRack # SR5511 or the similar Yakima JayLow # Y04073 which can hold 1 or 2 kayaks. I suggest you check the roof weight limit before considering a carrier for the heavier fishing kayak.
