Location of Wiring Harnesses Plug for 2016 Subaru Outback Limited

Question:
I had just purchased a class III hitch and wiring harness from you and went to begin installing the wiring today. After watching the video and reading the instructions I took the panels out as shown but was unable to find the plug described in the instructions under the panels. Reached under the side panels and everywhere I could get my hand. No plug? Is there someplace else other then the drivers side youve found them? Thanks for your help

I spoke to one of our installers and he informed me that on the Outback we had in our shop that the plug could easily have been overlooked, as it was taped to another bundle of wires under the panel. If you look at the video I've linked at the 2:00 minute mark, you will see Randy push the connector back under that panel, he told me he had to reach around under there to find the plug before they begun the video.
I found another source that mentioned that the plug will not only be tucked up behind the driver side inner fender trim but it should be visible near the rubber grommet in the floor and the cargo anchor. I have attached an image of this location to the page for you to better see. Very similar area pointed out in your # 118467 instructions.
In past years the plug has been known to be on either the driver or passenger side, but from the vehicles we've had here to test fit all have been on the driver side.
Let me know if you still can't find it after this, I would be more than happy to help you further.
