Question:
Is there a top or bottom to these lights? Im asking because I mounted two of these lights at the top corners of my trailer, and they are about 10 feet off the ground. I have to step back several yards before I can see them lit up clearly. Its hard to tell if they are lit up unless I back away from the trailer several yards.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Lights that have to be mounted in a specific orientation will have TOP printed on them somewhere which I do not see on light # MCL63RB. The lens is designed to direct the light straight outward so that is likely why it is harder to see them if they are mounted high and you are close to the trailer.
A lens design like that found on # MCL75RB would be a little easier to see at steeper angles. I have included a help article on trailer lighting requirements for you.
