Question:

I am interested to replace the old plastic vent cover on my Rockwood camper with a metal vent cover such as the Ventline Model BV0534-00. In examining the vent assembly on the camper I note that the manufacturer is Hengs. Do you know if this Ventline vent cover will fit the Hengs vent? If not, do you offer a similar metal vent cover for the Hengs vent base? Thanks,

We do carry the replacement vent covers for Hengs vents. If you want to just replace the cover you would order part # CAM40153 which is designed to work with the metal base after a redesign. This is the only replacement cover that uses a 3-point hinge that we carrry. The original vent cover measures 14 inches by 14 inches and so do these two covers mentioned above.

The metal dome # BV0534-00 assembly you were looking at measures 14-1/4 inches by 14-1/4 inches and connects with a continuous hinge. Best bet if you would like a metal vent cover is to replace the entire unit with the # V2110SP-24 Ventline Ventadome Manual Vent.
