Question:
I will be towing a 2016 Subaru Forester with the Roadmaster EZ5 Base Plate Kit using a falcon 2 tow bar. Do I need to use a cross bar, or can I connect the falcon 2 directly to the baseplate extender tubes ? also I do not have the release tool for the tow bar. Is it often needed for release ? Thank You

Expert Reply:
The EZ5 base plate kit part # 52923-5 that you referenced that you have installed on your 2016 Subaru Forester does not require you to use any crossbars so it would attach direction to the arms of your Falcon 2 part # RM-520.
The release tool is part # RM-066. You'll want to have one of these around unless you always park on perfectly level ground.
