2011 Winniebago Vista 26P on an F53 Ford chassis. I need a good controller for a tandem axle trailer weighing in at 5K. Suggestions?

Your 2011 Winnebago Vista P26 was built on the Ford F53 chassis. There is a brake controller wiring harness for this chassis, # 3035-P. The connector on the vehicle for this harness to plug into is located up under the dash behind the instrument cluster, see picture.
For a brake controller I recommend the P3 # 90195 because it offers excellent user-friendly features such as easy to read and understand diagnostics. I have linked a video review of this controller for you.
