Question:
I have a 2002 Z71 Silverado 1500. I will be towing a 1996 Thor Park Avenue Electra fifth wheel. Weight is about 7000 lbs. The RV has an adapter for a gooseneck already installed. I will be pulling it across my yard and it is not level. I have some hill to go over. Should I use a gooseneck ball or a fifth wheel connection. Thanks,

Expert Reply:
For a one time move across your a gooseneck hitch in the bed of your 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 would be the best route. For that you would want the part # BWGNRK1059.
Good news is that this hitch also doubles as a fifth wheel rail kit so if you decide to tow more frequently all you would need is a Companion fifth wheel hitch like part # BWRVK3500 for if you have a long bed truck or part # BWRVK3400-5W for if you have a short bed truck and need a slider hitch.
