The Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit, part 521567-1 and EZ4 Base Plate Kit, part # RM-521567-4 are both designed to fit your 2012 Cr-V. We do not have the EZ2 base plates available for your vehicle.

The biggest difference between the 2 base plate kits is that the # RM-521567-4 sits further back when installed for a cleaner look.

Both systems feature removable arms and are compatible with all Roadmaster tow bars, so either one will work great with your Falcon 2.

It sounds like you are familiar with flat-towing but in case you aren't I have attached a helpful article that explains flat-towing and what is needed. There are 5 items needed when flat-towing. You need the base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, lighting for the towed vehicle and most states now require a supplemental brake system. I will list those items in case you need them. If there is a question you have about a specific item just let me know and I will be glad to answer any questions and make recommendations that will work for you.

Safety cables - # RM-643.
Lighting - # RM-155 ( if fuses need to be pulled I recommend # RM76511 if one fuse is pulled and # RM76512 if 2 fuses are pulled).
Supplemental Brakes - # SM99251
If an umbilical is needed to connect the CR-V lighting to the RV I recommend part # RM-146-7

Since you want to tow as level as possible you may need a hitch high-low adapter. I have attached a link to our product page for the high-low adapters you can check out.
