Question:
Hi, I was wondering if I can drive and park a vehicle directly on top of the e track? Does it need to be to be mounted flush with the floor of the trailer?

Expert Reply:
If you are looking to use Erickson E-Track on a car hauler trailer you do not have to flush-mount the tracks. They can be secured to the trailer's decking with fasteners appropriate for the decking material (a minimum of 2 fasteners per linear foot on each side of the E-Track). It is perfectly okay to have the tires rest on the tracks since they are each rated for 6000-lbs. We offer the Erickson E-Track Wheel Tie-Down Strap # EM58523 that you can use with the tracks.
