Question:
I am looking into adding a hitch C13152 , 4 pin C56184, 7 pin adaptor ETBC7 and brake controller 90885 to my Santa Fe Sport. That would require 3 connections to the battery- One for the 4 pin box, one for the brake controller and one for the 12V on the 7 pin- is there anyway to combine the 4 pin box power to 12V on the 7 pin?

You are exactly correct that installing a brake controller on your 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport will require you to make 3 connections to the vehicle's battery. It is not recommended to combine the power wires for any of these components. I spoke with one of our trailer wiring harness manufacturers and he confirmed that combining power wires is not recommended. If they are combined, the likelihood of one component interfering with the functions of another is much greater.
The wiring harness, 12V power wire, and brake controller all need to be routed to either a circuit breaker or in-line fuse before being connected to the battery. These breakers and fuse should be as close to the battery connection as possible. Since the fuse for the # C56184 wiring harness is a 10 amp fuse, anything on the trailer's 12V power wire that pulls more than 10 amps will trip the wiring harness fuse and cause problems with the trailer lights.
If you need more room to make these connections at your battery terminals, or the battery terminals are a bit difficult to reach, a great solution is the Deka Battery Terminal # DW05310-1 for the positive terminal and # DW05311-1 for the negative terminal.
The Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # C13152, Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56184, Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7, and Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885 are all great products that will work well for you on your 2013 Santa Fe Sport. I have attached a couple of installation video of these parts for you.
