2010 Dogde Ram Pickup truck. Is the pole high enough to use or will it need additional extension?

The Rhino-Rack Universal Load Assist # RR-RUSL mounts so that it is parallel with the roof rack crossbars on the vehicle. The support pole part that extends down has a maximum length of 87-1/8 inches (and a minimum of 35-5/8 inches). The distance from the ground to the bottoms of your crossbars will need to be less than 87-1/8 inches to avoid having to use additional supports under it.
