Does Superwinch Winch 2 Go Have Braking System

Question:
Hello, Your site says non load holding. Im curious if this winch will power loads up and down an incline without letting them go. Thanks

The Superwinch Winch 2 Go 4000 SR, part # SW1140232 does have a brake but is not designed to hold a load, such as a suspended item in the air.
The hand held rocker switch controls the in and out feed of the load you are using with the winch and when released will pause the in or out function.

We are currently using an aged 1000# Warn 110 Volt Warn winch to let 1100# boat lift with wheels down a grade in the spring and back up the grade in fall . Would the 4000# Superwinch To Go do the same ? My main concern would be while using this winch in the reverse mode !
