Question:

How do I uninstall the edge evolution cs3 programmer from my 08 Silverado 4.8l will there be problems with my truck later or will it be completely stock again?

When using an Edge Evolution programmer such as # EP39YR for your 2008 Chevy Silverado 4.8 liter the option to return the truck to stock configuration is available where you select the tune you want. After the truck is returned to stock you can remove the programmer. There will not be any lasting effect on your truck. It will run just like it did when stock.

Programmers take the stock computer files and holds them. When a different tune is selected it writes the files to the computer for that tune. When you return to stock, it removes the tuner files and reinstalls the stock files.
