Question:
I have a 2016 MB Sprinter, I ordered it with the hitch package. I called MB of Tampa and they said that the harness for the brake controller is included with the hitch package. I watched your video for installing the controller on a 2013 Sprinter and under the seat was a harness with a green connection. I looked thru the access panel under the drivers seat and I could not find the harness. Do they always include the harness, is that something I should go back to MB of Tampa for?

If you called the Dealwership and they told you the brake controller harness was included with your tow package, I would ask them where it would be located.
I spoke with one of our installers and they told me that the harness on the 2013 Sprinter was located under the access panel as shown in the video, but MB may have placed the harness somewhere else on your Sprinter.
If you find you do not have the harness on your Sprinter, you can use part # ETBC7 if you have a 4-way connector and hardwire the brake controller as shown in the installation video I have attached on a 2014 Sprinter.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
If additional wire is needed, I recommend part # 10-2-1. This is a jacketed, 2-wire 10-gauge wire and is sold by the foot.
If you do not have a brake controller I recommend part # 90195. This is one of our most popular proportional brake controllers because it is easy to install and operate.
