Will Replacement Mounting Hardware for Thule Summit Cargo Box Fit Aero Crossbars

Question:
If I understand correctly from other questions beeing answered, I can use the TH04997 Mounting Kit to fix a Thule Summit Box on a rack which has bars with a width of 3inch wide wing style and not square bars. Assuming the spacing in the mounting Kit is 4inch and between 2 times 2 holes of the summit box it measures 4? Thanks a lot and Regards

You are correct that the Thule Replacement QM3 # TH04997 is the correct replacement hardware available for your Thule Summit 631. The QM3 hardware will let you mount your Summit cargo box on elliptical or aero-style crossbars.
The bolts are spaced 4 inches apart as you mentioned. I have attached a photo showing this measurement on the bottom bracket of the mounting hardware. This will match up with holes in your cargo box to mount the box to your roof rack.
