Question:
Im thinking on getting the TASR7KS01 with the 23-105 and 23-106 for the trailer hub and drum assembly I was thinking 42866UC3-EZ which is the 8 on 6 1/2 can I go with the 5 hole instead ? im not sure if im measuring my current rims I think they are 16.5

Expert Reply:
For the Timbren Axle-Less system part # TASR7KS01 the only hub/drums that will fit the spindle have 8 on 6-1/2 inch bolt patterns like the part # 42866UC3-EZ that you also referenced.
This is due to the higher capacity of the Timbren at 7,000 lbs. Hubs with 5 bolt patterns are only rated for up to 3,500 lbs per axle.
If you need the 7k capacity of the Timbren system you will have to go with 8 lug wheels/rims as well like the part # TA26FR.
This will work with the brake assemblies part # 23-105 and # 23-106 as well.
