Im looking for a drum brake actuator, 7000, unknown tongue weight with a reverse lockout. Seems that a reverse l/o is hard to find these days. Thnx

Hey Rick, you could use the Dexter Drum Actuator part # T63FR and then add an electric lockout like the part # DX46UR and you'd be set.
It is odd that you don't see drum surge actuators more often with electric lockouts but the logic is that free backing plates are used a lot now so that solenoid isn't as in demand.

Hey Rick, how did the setup with the Dexter drum actuator and electric lockout work out for you? Your update could make it easier for the next person trying to add a reverse lockout to a drum brake system.
