Instructions for Wiring a New 4-Way to a Trailer that Only has Green, Brown, and Yellow Wires

Question:
My trailer only has 3 wires. Green , brown and yellow. My harness has 4. Green, brown, yello w and white. I matched Color for color but dont know where the white wire Connects to. Need help. Thanks

The white wire is the ground circuit. What you will need to is run the white wire of your new harness to the frame of the trailer. You will want to pick a clean metal surface that is directly attached to the frame. Your taillight assemblies ground through the mounting hardware. That is why the ground attaches to the frame.
