The Curt # C16020 slider unit is compatible with the Curt R16 head unit, part # C16515. I've confirmed this with Curt for you.
This being said, the C16515 uses a slide bar jaw. A slide bar jaw will do a good enough job of securing the king pin that it won't come loose, but it will allow the king pin to move round in the hitch. This will lead to fore and aft banging and clanging when you brake and accelerate, which can get old if you tow for long distances. An upgraded head like the # C16520 features a dual jaw that will hold the king pin much more tightly, and wouldn't allow the pin to move around in the hitch, which would lead to a more pleasant ride.
