Question:
I have a Equi-zer weight distribution hitch for my RV similar to EQ37100ET. I keep my RV at a open storage unit and would like to leave my hitch attached to the rv when not in use due to its weight and having to transport it so it wont get stolen. Is there a type of lock that would secure it to the rv while not in use? Looking for something better than tiny pin that goes through rv hitch lock. Looking for something that may go all the way around the top and bottom. Thanks

A weight distribution system like the Equalizer # EQ37100ET can be secured to the hitch on your vehicle by using a hitch lock such as # e98880. This will lock the shank portion to the receiver.
However, there is no lock system designed to secure a WD hitch's components to a trailer. If you remove the system from the trailer's frame you could store it inside the trailer, which would also protect it from the potential corrosion from being exposed to the elements all winter long. Only the lift brackets would then have to be removed from the frame (using tools) to take the entire system off the trailer for safe winter storage.
