so researching your part #s for flipping the axle i found two conversion kits to do this #k71-385-00 and k71-384-00, my axle is 2 3/8inch and requires 5 1/2inch u bolts one kit shows for a 3inch axle and one shows 2 3/8axle, my axle is a D-35 axle is 3500lb axle single on a utility trailer.#k71-385-00 specs 2 3/8inch x5 1/8inch u -bolts,specs for k71-384-00 shows for 3inch axle. my u-bolts that i measured are 5 1/2inch x2 3/8. which kit will work for me.

Since you have a 2-3/8 inch diameter round axle you would use over/under conversion kit # K71-384-00. The u-bolts that come with the kit will likely be long enough. But in the event they are not you could substitute longer u-bolts, # SP01-040 for a pair.
