A rim that a 7.00-15 LT would fit would be between 5 and 6 inches in width. The tire size you listed would be a fit for 15 inch rims that are between 6 and 7-1/2 inches in width.

You will need to verify that the width of your rim is 6 inches before attempting to install a 235/75R 15. This tire size isn't a standard trailer tire size so a better option would be ST225/75R15 like part # AM10303 if this is a trailer application.
