Transmission Cooler Recommendation for 2011 Nissan Sentra
Updated 10/14/2015 | Published 10/13/2015 >
Question:
I have a 2011 Nissan Sentra which has the dreaded CVT transmission. I am looking to add an additional trans cooler to keep the car from going into limp mode especially on hot days. What product would you recommend and I dont see the installation video for a Sentra with my similar boast style. Im assuming there is a range of years that have similar enough body styles that the same cooler would work for.i.e. I have a 2011 but the cooler for a 2007 may be installed in the same area on the car. I would like to use the largest unit that I can. Please help before I have to send this car to the junk yard out of frustration. Thanks

If there are external lines on the transmission of your 2011 Nissan Sentra that run to the radiator you could install a transmission cooler like the part # D13503 assuming you have room for it. This cooler measures 11" wide x 8-3/4" tall x 7/8" deep.
This would significantly lower the temperature of the transmission fluid which should fix your problem.
If your transmission does not have external lines then there isn't a cooler option we can recommend.
