This 5-1/2" round LED tail light gives your trailer a clean, standout look while keeping things fully street legal. The GloLight lens forms a smooth, solid ring of light instead of the dotted pattern of traditional LEDs. The outer band handles tail light duties, while the center red LEDs kick in for stop and turn functions. It’s bright, clear through the sealed lens, and at 12.8V it draws just 0.145 amps for the tail light and 0.375 amps for stop and turn—strong visibility without pulling heavy current.

If your trailer ever hits wet roads or the launch ramp, this light is built for it. The polycarbonate housing and acrylic lens are sonically sealed into one waterproof piece, keeping water out and protecting the 21 LEDs and circuit board from corrosion or shorts. That sealed design is also tough enough to handle vibration and shock in rough conditions without giving up on performance.
No more blown filaments or dimming bulbs. The LEDs in this GloLight last up to 50 times longer than incandescent lights, staying bright while using less power. There are no bulbs to replace, no hot spots, just efficient lighting that keeps working trip after trip. It’s a simple upgrade that adds reliability and peace of mind every time you hook up your trailer.
Mounting this light is simple thanks to its built-in flange that sits flush against a flat surface—no deep cutout required. It uses an industry-standard 3-prong plug (sold separately) for quick connection: white for ground, red for brake/turn, and black for running lights. With its compact 1-1/2" depth and smooth fit, it installs cleanly and looks sharp once mounted.

Inside the housing, the LED circuit board uses surface-mount technology that’s designed to handle road shock better than older wired setups. By soldering the diodes directly to the board surface, it allows better heat control and stronger overall durability. That means consistent light output even after long miles on bumpy terrain—all backed by a lifetime LED warranty.

Today we're reviewing part number STL101RCFB from Optronics. This light is in their glow light series. It's an LED stop, turn and tail light with a built in flange mount. The outer band of red LEDs here is your taillight and then the circle inside that, those LEDs will be your brake light and your turn signal. There is a clear lens housing over all of the LEDs, as you can see there. This light does use surface mount technology that protects the LEDs from moisture, shock and vibration. There is a built in polycarbonate mounting flange, makes installation very easy. Also, the lens and the housing are sealed and waterproof. This uses a standard three prong plug on the back. If you do not have a right angle three prong plug, then you will need this part which is sold separately. This is the Optronics right angle three wire pigtail plug, part number A47PB. So we're going to use that today and plug that into the back and then I can show you how this light works. We need to plug it into our power source.
Of course, you'll be using the plug on your trailer, but we have a temporary portable power source here. First, I'm going to connect the ground wire which has the ring terminal. And then I'll connect the turn and brake lights, and taillight. Okay, now we're going to turn off our overhead light and I'll turn on the power. So there is your taillight. In the center here, you have red LEDs that shine when you step on the brakes. So even though they look clear in the picture on the product page, they actually are red LEDs. Here's your turn signal. Okay, now we can turn our power source off and disconnect. This light meets all of the Department of Transportation requirements for automotive lighting. It has a four inch diameter on the light and it's one and a quarter inches deep. There is a lifetime warranty on the LEDs and a three year warranty on the housing and the wiring. There you have it for part number STL101RCFB from Optronics, the glow light LED stop, turn and taillight with a flange mount. .

These lights have worked amazingly. The LED’s have not faded out. The Lens is still as nice and clear as the day I got them one year ago. Fabulous product, I would recommend these to anyone looking to upgrade their trailer lights of for a custom job like the rear of my Hummer H1.

I still am impressed as to how noticeable they are at night. No I never regretted purchasing those lights, easy install, work great. And the trailer originally had round tail lights. I have just purchased another set of tail lights from you, just a couple days ago. Again Oval shaped 52 diode LED. These are going on a trailer that I cant find anything about, other than it was manufactured in San Jacinto California in the 1980s. I think these new lights are going to look great on there, I think original was probably an ugly square one. The trailer is a 19 ft. , 1983 Tow Lite fifth wheel single axle. I swear it was built for off road the way it looks, and it looks stock.

I love the GloLight led trailer lights. They look awesome and function perfect. I bought the trailer as a gutted shell and built it from there to a better than new trailer. Every light on the trailer had to be clear lens and have a specific look before I would purchase, and I dont have a single regret with these lights.
