Will Firestone Air Suspension Work With Fifth Wheel Hitch On 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 Short Bed

Question:

I am installing Firestone F2430 air bags into a 2015 GMC 1500 CC 4x4, 58inch bed. The truck is Max Tow rated NHT. Im curious if these are fully compatible with N appropriate goose-beach hitch my preference and/or any appropriate Reese 5th wheel set up for my short bed. Im looking at towing an ultra-lite 5er, specifically an Open Range Cougar Light. Thank you.

To find out if there will be an issue installing your gooseneck hitch with the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs, part # F2430 you can take a look at the attached installation instructions.

I have also attached a drawing that shows where the F2430 is installed on your truck. As the drawing shows the F2430 is installed on the axle and replaces the jounce bumper on your truck. You will want to make sure the installation of the gooseneck or fifth wheel does not interfere with the brackets used by the F2430. I have attached another photo that shows the Firestone air bags installed.
