Question:
Is this this receiver-style step/bumper protector the widest available for 2 inch receivers? This would do the job for me, but I would like to know if something wider may also be available. Thank you.

We do have a couple options you may be interested in for a wider hitch mounted step.
First, I recommend the Carr Mega Step Fold-Up Step, part # CARR190011. This is a 14 inch wide fold-up step that has a weight capacity of 500 lbs. This step folds up when you travel and has a large 14 inch x 5 inch non-skid platform, and will fit a 2 inch receiver opening.
The second step you may want to take a look at is the PortablePET Twistep Hitch Mounted Step, part # HE3052. This step has a platform that measures 22 inches wide x 19 inches deep and has a 400 lb weight capacity. This step twists in the hitch and under the rear bumper when not in use.
I have attached links to product review videos you can check out.
