Question:
Could you please send me some pictures of the Curt 11391 installed on a Honda Civic? Please, no photos of the previous model, the 11437. Im trying to determine how visible the hitch is as compared to other brands. This is the hitch I am interested in: C11391 Thanks!

We make videos and take photos of the trailer hitch installations on vehicles as they are brought in and installed here. Unfortunately, we do not have any photos of this hitch installed on a 2012 Civic. I have attached a video from when we installed it on a 2013 Civic though.
I have attached a link to a best options video on a 2012 Civic you can check out. As stated in the video, the trailer hitches we offer that will fit the Civic are all very similar and would have very similar looks when installed. As noted in the video the Curt # C11391 trailer hitch has a requirement that a stabilizing strap like part # 18050 should be used for all non-trailer loads - bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth or you will void your hitch warranty from Curt.
The main difference between the C11391 and the other hitches like part # 24763 is the end of the receiver tube and the safety chain hookups. The # 24763 has a standard stock piece of steel where the Curt hitch does have an additional beefier end.
The safety chain hook ups are different as well. The 24763 uses rolled steel hook ups and the Curt uses a plate for the safety chain hook ups.
All of the hitches have the same weight carrying capacity and tongue weight capacity, and would look really similar when installed except for the features I mentioned.
The recommended ball mount is part # C45521 and you can use part # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball or part # 19258 for a 2 inch hitch ball.
If you are interested in using the hitch for a bike carrier I have attached a link to some of the bike carriers we offer. I have also attached a link to cargo carriers that are designed to work with Class l hitches. If you have any questions about a specific item just let me know and I will be happy to make some recommendations that will work for you.
