Replacement Landing Gear Motor For 1985 Hitchhiker Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

Hi. We just bought a 1985 Hitchhiker 5th wheel. Its 35foot with a 6foot slideout. The landing gear motor doesnt work. But there are no numbers on it! It is an Atwood motor not to exceed 5000 lbs but there is no part number on it. We called Atwood and they told my husband it would be a part #75625. Were just wondering if this is still a usable part # or if it has been replaced with a different #? Ive tried looking online for a replacement motor but cant seem to find that part # anywhere. Ive included a pic of motor and only info we can find on it. This motor is bigger around than the ones our local rv dealers carry, they say they would have to order one in, but want to make sure we are getting the right motor...

The correct replacement motor you need for your fifth wheel trailer is the Atwood 12-Volt Motor Kit, part # LG-142178.

I verified this with my contact at Lippert so this would work well for you.
