Tow Dolly Recommendation for Flat Towing Two Different Vehicles

Question:

I have a Winnebago Rialta hitch is already in place that I want to possibly tow a 1991 Ford Festiva or a 1995 Geo tracker automatic 4X4. What stuff do I need to buy to be able to pull any of these vehicles safely? I am a petite woman, so I am looking for something that will be a quick disconnect for me. I will be having someone do the installing for me. Thank you so much.

Honestly if your plan is to flat tow two different vehicles and are looking for the easiest setup our best option is going to be a tow dolly like part # RM-2050-1.

By the time you buy everything needed for two different vehicles and pay to have the parts installed the cost would be about the same for a tow dolly and the everyday use for the dolly would be much easier. Tow dollies can occasionally be stubborn.

You will want to check the owners manual of both vehicles to determine if there are any restrictions on flat towing either.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the tow dolly brakes.
