Question:

I have a Reese fifth wheel hitch for a 2003 Ford F250.. I have a 2009 F250 and a 2014 F250 that I would like to transfer to. Can you tell me what years my 2003 hitch will fit. Thank You

As long as your Reese 5th wheel trailer hitch fits on industry standard above-bed rails, you will be able to put your 5th wheel hitch in any of your F250s. The thing that will be different for each truck will be the installation kit and bed rails.

For your 2009 Ford F-250 8 foot bed, I recommend the Reese Fifth Wheel Above Bed Rails with Custom Outboard Installation Kit # RP56005-53. These outboard brackets install on the outside of your frame instead on to the inside of your frame. This provides an easier installation than traditional inboard brackets. These custom brackets will require no drilling in the truck frame to be installed. I have attached an installation video of these rails and brackets on a 2004 F-250 for you.

For your 2014 Ford F-250, you will want to use the Reese Fifth Wheel Above Bed Rails with Custom Installation kit # RP50026-58. These brackets are inboard brackets, and there are not outboard brackets available for this vehicle. This custom kit does not require drilling on the frame to install the brackets.
