High Capacity Rim and Tire in 205/75R14 Size, Load Range D

Published 08/13/2015

Question:

We have a Forest River Flagstaff 2009. I need to replace tires old and want to move up to a D rated radial tire, since the trailer weight just about maxed out the old tires and provided wheels. I am not sure how to pick a wheel for that trailer and this tire. Guidance?

First thing you need to know is the bolt pattern of the old wheel so that you can go with a rim that will bolt up to your trailer. I attached a help article that details how to determine bolt pattern.

Most likely you have a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern. For a trailer wheel and tire combo that comes mounted with a Load Range D tire in the same size as the # AM10235 you would want the part # AM32161.
