The Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C13081 and the Pro Series Hitch Cargo Carrier, part # 63153 will work well with each other on your Patriot.
I have attached a photo that shows the clearance needed at the back of a 2015 Patriot for any hitch mounted accessories to clear the rear bumper. The distance is 6 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back edge of the rear bumper.
The Pro Series Hitch Cargo Carrier, part # 63153 has a distance of 5 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the bend in the shank on the carrier. The distance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier is 12-3/4 inches.
If you look at the photo you can see the rear bumper on the Patriot slants upward which would give plenty of room for the bend in the shank of the cargo carrier. The cargo carrier weighs about 55 lbs so that weight and the weight of any cargo you plan to carry need to be considered. You want to make sure you do not exceed the tongue weight capacity for your Patriot.
To help deter theft of the carrier in your hitch I recommend a hitch receiver lock like part # e98880.
To hold the cargo you plan on carrying secure in the carrier I recommend a stretchable cargo net like part # H9500100.
