Question:
I am trailer in a kodiak 292 TQB- 1000 lb tongue wt. this is a toy hauler. 6660 dry weight , over 3000lb. Load capacity. 35foot long. Am using the 10,000 lb. Equalizer brand tow system. It was professionally installed by the rv company. F-150 v6 turbo eco boost super crew pulls it well. However there is more squat than I like. I assume I would benefit from this part . If so does the Firestone stack up to the Timbren ?? Firestone looks like it is busier to set up? Recommendations please!! Which product would you choose, I do not want air ride. Thanks, former trailer.com customer ,2013 Ford F-150 4door crew with a 6foot bed it is the 3.5 eco boost.

It sounds like the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution system you have installed may not be set up properly. If you are not exceeding the weight capacity of the system or vehicle, the system when set up correctly should take care of the squat you said you have.
If the squat is caused by a heavy load in the back of your truck then the Timbren system would work well for you. I recommend part # TFRTT1502D. This provides additional support when weight is added to the back of the truck and does not affect the empty ride. This system replaces the bump stops on your truck frame and no drilling is required for installation.
