Roller Placement on Shocks for a Titan Model 10 Brake Actuator
Updated 05/25/2024 | Published 04/05/2018 >
Question:
I recently purchased a master cylinder and shocks from etrailer for my Dico Titan 10 actuator along with many other brake parts. I am trying to understand how the two large spacers item 30 on schematic attach to the actuator shock. It appears from the schematic that both item 30 spacers are located on each side of one of the shocks and no spacer on the second shock. Did I interpret this correctly? Also, the spacers have a chamfer on one side. Does the chamfer get installed to the wall of the actuator or the shock side. Thank you

Replacement Rear Roller Bearing # T1242600 will install on that top shock only, one on each side of the shock eye. The tapered ends of the rollers will face towards the shock eye on your model 10 actuator.

Thanks for clarifying. I am rebuilding one now. It was rebuilt before by someone who had one 30 roller on the top pin and one on bottom. Schematic shows both on the top pin. I’m having a heck of a time getting front pin out of top damper. Thanks again
