Question:

2009 Fleetwood Bounder M36B Diesel is built on a Freight Liner Frame with Air Brakes. Planning an purchasing a Roadmaster RM2000-1 for a 2005 Toyota Camary SE Automatic Transmission but not sure which Brake Controller will work on the above referenced Motorcoach.

Since a brake controller is tied into the brake stoplight switch located above the brake pedal, which is what tells the controller that the vehicle brakes are being applied, it will work on just about any vehicle, regardless of the braking system it uses.

With that being said, I recommend going with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, # 90195, for your 2009 Fleetwood Bounder M36B Diesel Pusher with air brakes. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. I have attached the installation instructions for you.

Assuming your that your Fleetwood is already equipped with a 7 way connector at the back of the vehicle, in addition to the brake controller you will just need Wiring Kit, # 5506. This will provide you with the wiring for the brake output circuit, 12V power, and ground as well as the breaker for the 12V circuit.
