Question:
What are the pros and cons between the Curt Q16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs Code: C16120 and the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs Code: RP30047 ? The Reese saves me about 40 lbs of cargo weight but the Curt saves me about $140. Either would be mounted to my Reese 30154 adapter.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Based on our experiences here I would recommend the Reese 16k hitch part # RP30047 over the Curt hitch part # C16120 that you referenced. The Reese hitch seems to be a bit more reliable and the Curt Q series comes back more often with damage around the jaws of the hitch.
Both hitches will work great, but since the Reese is a bit lighter and tends to have fewer issues I would recommend that route for you.
This hitch would work well with the Mopar Adapter part # RP30154 that you referenced.
