Question:
What is the length of the spring bars for this hitch? I have a cargo-mate trailer with the semi-V nose, Im concerned that the nose of the trailer may interfere with the brackets for the spring bars. The trailer has 30inch between the centerline of the ball and the front skin of the trailer where it goes over the trailer frame.

Expert Reply:
The spring bars of the Curt Weight Distribution System # C17062 that you referenced are 30-5/8 inches in length.
A better solution for you might be the Curt Short Arm System part # C17332 that has the same weight rating as the system you referenced except the bars are 2 inches shorter.
Otherwise you may have to go with chain hangers that bolt to the side of the trailer frame like part # RP58305. These don't require any clearance above the trailer frame for install so they should work well.
