The Curt multi-fit RV trailer hitch # 13703 has a tongue weight capacity of 350 pounds. As long as the combined weight of the generated and the cargo carrier used to hold it does not exceed 350 pounds then it will work. Curt also says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 when using this hitch for any non-trailer load (such as a bike rack or car go carrier) per their warranty requirements.

Another option is trailer hitch # C13702 with a 500 pound tongue weight capacity. It will fit frame widths from 18 inches to 51 inches. Frame width is measured from the outside of one frame rail to the outside of the other frame rail. The higher capacity will provide more peace of mind especially if the total weight on the hitch is near 350 pounds.

I would still use some additional straps to relieve as much stress as possible from the hitch.
