Question:
You mention the tire is mounted and filled with air. Is it also balanced? I dont see any wheel weights in the pictures of the rim/tire. Thank you.

Expert Reply:
It isn't necessary to balance trailer tire and wheel combinations because the high/heavy spot on the tire is aligned with the low/light spot on the wheel which simulates balance. In addition, it is common for trailer tires not to be balanced, even from OEM.
When you align the heavy spot with the light spot on the wheel, most of, if not all of the vibration will be taken care of. If there is any vibration, it usually can't be felt when pulling a trailer. You can be able to more precisely balance our trailer tire and wheel assemblies by balancing them further, however, most people don't.
The Taskmaster tire and wheel # TA43ZR will be filled with air but I would still ensure it's at the maximum 50 psi. At the maximum air pressure, tires will perform and wear best and get the best gas mileage.
