If you want to do a hardwire install for your Rampage SuperBrite LED Tailgate Light Bar # RA960137 rather than use the 4-pole flat trailer connector, you'll want to use a tester like # PTW2993 to test the truck's wires. This is the only sure way to know which wire carries which lighting function.
You'll need a helper in the truck to activate each lighting function while you apply the tester to the wires. Be certain to have your helper apply the brake and parking brake to ensure your safety while you test for the reverse light. This wire will splice to the white wire on the light bar.
Once you know your wire colors and functions you can use butt connectors like # 05731-5 to make those permanent hardwire connections or you can use quick-splice connectors like # SWC501915-1.
