Helpful Expert Reply:
I went to our warehouse and measured the box that the Brophy Steel Scissor Steps, part # SS04 are packaged in.
The box measures 10 inches wide, 19 inches long, and 13 inches tall. The shipping weight for these steps is 34.17 lbs. The step size for this item is 18 inches wide and 6 inches deep. These steps have a weight capacity of 300 lbs. When retracted, these steps measure 11 inches tall.
For added safety I recommend the Non-Slip Adhesive Safety Strips, part # NSAS. These are 1 inch X 11 inch adhesive strips which can be applied to the steps for added safety. I have attached a product review video for these strips you can check out.
