Helpful Expert Reply:
A 3500 lbs electric tongue jack would be a good fit for your 6200 lbs 2006 Gulfstream Cavalier travel trailer. Based on your trailer weighing 7000 pounds loaded you will have an approximate tongue weight of 700 pounds. I would recommend the Stromberg Carlson # JET-3555 (white) or # JET-3755 (black) as they are rated at 3,500 lbs. I have also included an FAQ for you too.
One item I highly recommend is the Ultra-Fab Protective Cover # UF38-944020. With the electric jack being out in the elements 24/7, having your electric jack covered will extend its life. Weather seems to work its way into crevices such as the switches on the jack which can prematurely burn the electronics out. Keeping the jack covered when not in use is the best practice.
