Question:
I am looking at the Brophy hitch step for truck receiver hitch. I want to know how high above and below the receiver bar to the 2 steps please. That will help me know if I can use this for my application. Thanks a bunch!

The steps on the Brophy Hitch Stair part # RHS2 measure 6 x 17 inches.
I have attached a photo of the hitch stair with the dimensions noted you can check out. The rise between the two steps measures 10 inches, and the top step is 5-1/4 inches above the top of the shank that slides into the 2 inch receiver. The bottom step is 3 inches below the bottom of the shank. This stair has a 250 lb weight capacity.
I also recommend the pin and clip, part # PC3. If you are looking for a locking hitch pin I recommend the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock, part # e98880.
We also offer non-slip adhesive strips, part # NSAS, you can apply for additional traction when stepping on the hitch stairs. In the package you get 4 1 inch X 11 inch non-slip strips.
