Hitch for 2015 Toyota Highlander That Will Not Protrude Past Bumper

Question:

2015 Toyota Highlander XLE I read in the Reviews that some of the hitches stick out past the bumper, and are real shin knockers. Are the reviewers correct in regards to shin knockers? Thank you,

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2"# e98844 that you referenced does not stick out from the bumper it is almost exactly flush with the back of the bumper, so you would not need to be worried about accidentally banging your shins the receiver. You can see this set up at the 1:30 mark in the attached installation video.
