Question:
I recently purchased a 2014 Jayco 31.5 FBHS and want to install a hitch on the rear of the trailer. I would like to be able to haul a smaller trailer or boat with this hitch. I would also be using this with a cargo carrier. I would like a few suggestions of what you have. Thanks for your help.

As long as the frame on your 2014 Jayco 31.5 FBHS is between 22 and 72 inches in width the hitch we recommend the most for trailers is the Curt Adjustable Width Hitch part # 13703. This hitch has capacities that are 3,500 lbs of total trailer weight and 350 lbs tongue weight. As long as the trailer you plan on towing weighs less than that, Jayco says you can tow a trailer with your trailer, and your local DOT says it's okay to tow a trailer with a trailer you would be good to go.
Most cargo carriers aren't rated for use behind a trailer since the ride quality is much rougher there then at the back of a vehicle. But if you do use one you will be required to use the stabilizer strap part # 18050 to help support the carrier while traveling. I attached a review video on how to use the strap as well.
