I have a Cadillac dts 2006. Which would be the better rack and why?

Both the Hollywood Racks part # HR1000Z and the Saris Freedom 2 bike rack part # SA4412B are great bike racks. Either one would work well for you, but there are a couple differences between the racks that are worth noting that you should consider before you decide which would be the best for you.

First off the Saris is lighter at 25 lbs when compared to the Hollywood which weighs 35 lbs. The Hollywood has a higher weight capacity of 90 lbs total, whereas the Saris can only carry 70 lbs (35 lbs per bike). The Hollywood can accommodate bikes with a wheelbase of up to 60 inches while the Saris can only do 44-1/2 inches. The Saris has a shank rise of 8 inches whereas the Hollywood only has 5 inches, which means the Saris will have slightly better ground clearance.

Since either rack can work better for different situations it would be hard for me to say one is a clear cut winner. If I were you I would compare the specs I listed for both racks and consider what would work best for your bikes on your 2006 Cadillac DTS.

If you don't have a hitch yet I would recommend the Draw Tite hitch part # 36287.
