The Class III hitch for your 2008 RAV4 is the Curt # C13149. This is a 2" receiver that gives you many options.
To complete your towing system, you might also need the following:
Trailer wiring harness with 4-pole trailer connector, # 118412
Ball mount, # C45010
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, # 19260
2 inch trailer ball, # 63845
Locking hitch pin, # e98882
