How to Determine Correct Wheel Covers for RV Tires

What is the wheel in inches for a 19 inch tire?

If you want to know if a particular spare tire cover will fit your RV tires, there is an easy way to find out. Simply read the numbers off the sidewall of your current RV tire. The most common tire sizes will have three parts, just like the 205/75-R15 tire pictured at right. This number will tell you the section width, the sidewall aspect ratio and the diameter of the wheel.

Once you have these numbers we will be able to assist you in choosing the right tire covers for your RV.

Your ST205/75R15 tires have an overall diameter of just over 27", so the Adco # 290-3753 (Diamond Plate) or # 290-3973 (Black) will work perfectly.

Your 255/80R22.5 size tires are just under 33" in diameter, so the best option is a 33 to 35" cover like the Adco # 290-3971.

Your 225/75R15 tires have an overall diameter of just over 28", so a cover for 27-29" tires like the Adco # 290-3973 will work perfectly.

Your LT215/85-16 tires have an overall diameter of just over 30", so the Adco # 290-3952 (White) or # 290-3972 (Black) will work perfectly.

@BettyM For your 315/80R22.5 tires, they have an overall diameter of just over 42 inches. This diameter falls in a size changeover for the tire covers we offer. Especially with the width of your tires, I feel that the covers that fit 40-42 inches will most likely be too snug on your tires, so I would go with a set of covers designed to fit 43-45 inch diameter tires.
