The Curt Front Mount Hitch Receiver, part # C31071, is confirmed as a fit for your 2015 GMC Sierra 2500.

This hitch has a 2 inch receiver opening and is an easy, bolt-on installation.

If you need to maneuver a trailer using your front hitch I recommend a ball mount like part # C45010. This ball mount has a 3/4 inch rise or a 2 inch drop. I have attached a link to a product review for this ball mount you can check out. If you need a hitch ball I recommend part # 63845 for the 2 inch ball and part # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch hitch ball.

If you are planning on installing a winch on the front receiver, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Electric Winch Mount Plate # C31010. You can add the optional handles, part # C31005 that make installing and removing the winch easier.
